  Very disappointed by Agave. I've been driving by for years and finally decided to try it tonight. Burritos were on special ($10) which was quite cheap. But it was honestly a very boring dish. We also ordered the LayerDip ($14), this was tasty but pricy for what it was. Drink were good (Jack Daniel's Mojito and Margarita), but on the more expensive end. Overall we found it was expensive for what we got. Location and staff was great, but will sadly never go back.

  Fresh and well prepared food. Reservation recommended as location is cozy. Friendly staff.

  Nothing was bad, but nothing was particularly great. I eat a lot of Latin American food, this was bland. Not a corn tortilla to be found. Fluatas with flour tortillas?? Same thing for the tacos. The salsa verde had a nice unique flavour. Pulled chicken for the nachos was bland, not braised properly. Overall I'm not user with what I got, but if this is the best Ottawa has to offer , it doesn't hold a candle to what I've had in cities like Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Saskatoon.

  Attention vegetarians and vegans As a vegan, it's hard to find places to eat that have options. I was pleasantly suprised when i found online that Agave had a vegetarian/vegan section on their menu. After making sure with the waitresse, turns out their beans and rice are cooked in chicken broth so half the dishes that are labeled vegetarian on their menu are not. Not impressed!

  Good service, pleasant atmosphere and great margaritas. The food is a bit hit or miss though and the prices are high for the quality.
