  • Stunning museum and best in Ottawa, in my humble opinion. The exhibitions are incredible, the artwork and the details to make each one look as realistic as possible really do make the $15 entry worthwhile. The insects aren't stuffed, just a fair warning if you're not into seeing live roaches and tarantulas. You'll need 2-3hrs to see it all without rushing through, if you have kids then more than 3hrs since there are plenty of interactive games for them along the way. I saw the whole thing twice over because it was just that incredible! There's even a picnic area inside if you prefer to bring your own food. Loved it all, the building alone is a real sight!

  • I hadn't visited this museum for many years before today. I can tell you that it has only gotten better. The exhibits are clean and well thought out. There is something for everyone; there are interactive parts for the kids, live insects, all kinds of fossils (including dinosaurs) 3d films in the basement -$4 extra. The food in the cafe is fresh and flavorful. All in all, a great place to visit. Parking around 14 bucks and you'll want a few hours to look around

  • The most fun I have ever had a museum! We spent about 4 hours walking through the whole place and may not have seen everything. Theres a big focus on the science behind the exhibits (earth's formation in the space exhibit, natural selection's role in adaptions in the animal exhibits) which I loved. It's a great place for people of all ages to learn and see some terrific things!

  • Fantastic museum. We all really enjoyed the new Arctic exhibit. The kids enjoyed hunting for bugs in their cages and the rock displays. There is a large variety of things to see.
