  The Glen is known for quality, so I was disappointed when I went this time. I went for lunch on a weekday. The beer was all flat (likely a CO2/beer gas issue), and their famous fish and chips (I ordered the beer battered version) was flavourless. The washroom was quite dirty as well. The server was aldo constantly forgetting items and had to keep coming back to the table with forgotten stuff. The server was also really overzealous when working for her tip. She was at the table every couple of minutes asking how things were. Normally, the food and drink are great and the service is excellent, but this must have been an off day.

  We loved the Glen. My dad has been going for years but we went for the first time as a family. We were seated quickly on a busy Friday night, had wonderful beer, and our food came quickly. We all got fish and chips-- big, wonderful cuts cooked perfectly. I often feel sick after eating fried food but I felt fine after this fish, they obviously clean their fryers frequently and know how to do fish and chips properly. Really delicious and we loved it!

  Tonight we had a great time at the Glen. Our family ordered the fish and chips, and I ordered the Haggis. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty and delicious it was. The portions are massive so if you can't eat whale sized portions ask for the single fish. You can also get 1/2 fries and salad as opposed to one or the other, so that is nice. The servers and support staff were wonderful, the restaurant is clean and welcoming.

  Stopped in here for lunch on a Sunday and ordered the clam chowder and fish tacos. The clam chowder was the best I have ever had (no shrimp either)! The serving was huge and it also came with a large piece of bread. Ended up taking the fish tacos home which I enjoyed later and were also super delicious! The service was great as well. Highly recommend!

  Was in last week for lunch & had a great experience!! Delicious fish & chips , comfortable environment and our server was amazing... so friendly & helpful! This place is a must go
