  Poor communication throughout the year. To name a few issues: when I called to look at the venue, they had a weekend in Aug available. I went the next day and they were booked until the end of Sept. The amount they told me when I signed and paid my deposit was about 500.00 less than what it ended up being a month later. The 3 weeks before my wedding they went on vacation, so I could not ask them important questions. They told me all tables and chairs could be used. It wasn't until a few weeks before the wedding they told me they couldn't go on the grass (dinner was in a tent). Random things were left from previous weddings. My friends and I put hours and hours cleaning and prepping the venue. There dogs wandered all around the venue and pooed in the dinner tent. One of my bridesmaids stepped in it twice. They are overall VERY bad at communicating and being consistent. You can save a lot of time, money, and stress by choosing a different venue.
