  Not to be biased or anything, but one of us used to work there so we were told to go eat there. We were not disappointed, and the servers were delightful!

  Disgraceful! My wife and I had two gift certificates that we tried to use on three separate occasions over the winter only to find the restaurant closed on a busy weekend in one instance and then they closed early (8:30pm) the next time we tried. We live over 2 hours away from Ottawa and are only there occasionally. The third time we tried to use our gift certificates they had just barely expired and was told there wasn't a manager on staff that could authorize the certificates and to try at a later date. The employee said she was sure under the circumstances that they would honor them. That brings us to the forth time we tried to use the certificates. This time the restaurant was open and there was a manager on duty. As I was searching for a parking spot, I dropped my wife of in front of the restaurant to get a table and make sure we could finally use our certificates. As I approached the restaurant I was amazed to find my wife standing curbside in front of the restaurant with a somewhat bewildered look on her face. She had spoken to the manager on duty, a tall, fortyish man who told her we were unable to use our gift certificates. She explained to him very nicely the three prior times we had tried to use them and through no fault of our own had not been able to. He was completely unapologetic and borderline rude and made it clear they would not honor our gift certificates. We have purchased these gift certificates for many years through a local charity auction and never had a problem. We will continue to purchase items through the auction as it is for a very good cause. However, we will not purchasing these certificates again. We are very disappointed with the complete lack of professionalism displayed and hope they take action to correct it in the future.

  Very nice place to eat. We ate here twice. The wait staff was great, especially the first day. Food great, had gluten-free food and dessert.
