  What a special place. Priced fairly (both tickets and concessions) and even was given free popcorn on the way out. We will be back soon. Thanks for an enjoyable experience.

  The Mayfair is an independently run movie house. They have a large following of manly old fashioned movie buffs. Don't expect newly run shows. They probably have the best popcorn in the city with real butter. Love the vintage look of the place, pricing is very good and if you join as a member there even lower. They have a small, limited candy bar. expect line ups, so get in early.

  They have couches if get there soon enough! The special movie selection, and the authenticity of the venue contribute to its character! A great place for a date!

  One of the best movie going experiences I've ever had was going to see "The Room" here. I have never seen a better sense of community in silver screen rooms than I have here going to a cult showing. I am not sure about new stuff because I only went there once and the location is out of my way, but its a time I will never forget.

  The Mayfair plays amazing hard to find films. Great price especially with a yearly membership. Staff are always very friendly. The atmosphere here is fun and welcoming, a real Ottawa gem.
