  Used to come here often when I was in the Orleans area and back then I would have given this place four stars! However my most recent experience left me feeling disappointed. The food was just OK. Not very flavourful and some things were overcooked and burnt. Restaurant itself could also use a good cleaning. I don't mind paying a bit of money and waiting a while for food but the quality has to be there and I feel that it is missing with this place.

  Food was okay. It's a very westernized version of Indian food in my opinion with every dish we ordered being very very sweet. I eat curry almost every week or more and have gone to many other places and nowhere else has had this problem so I assume it's just how they have decided to make their recipes. In all it wasn't bad but I wouldn't go back. If you're looking for a good Indian restaurant I'd recommend Host India. I come from a family where we eat curry very often and we all love it. Hope this helped you.

  Flavourful food, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. My wife and I enjoyed our experience at the pearl of India and felt the flavours were very authentic to where the food originates from in India. Definitely will be coming back to try more off the menu :)
