  Service was exceptional the staff was on point all night. Food was amazing all small portions and good to get different dishes and share. I suggest two savoury per person that was enough for us. Each dish was already paired with a wine this was a genius feature. Its a very popular restaurant I recommend making a reservation. One of the best in Ottawa by far.

  The food was delicious and the service was great. Portions are very small, they warn you before you order. It's all about the taste. We sat overlooking the chef's kitchen (kitchen bar) which was fun. We got to see all the cooking action. It is a loud seat but fun for a date night.

  Play has a really great vibe to it. The ambience is really lovely, classy and relaxed. It's a really beautiful space and well spaced out, so you have some privacy at your table. Service here is stellar and staff are particularly knowledgeable about the options and the wine list. There are many vegetarian and even vegan options! I really appreciate this. They even have a separate menu indicating the vegetarian and vegan options, to simplify your selection. I really like the small plates served here, as I am often indecisive and can't choose what to order. I believe I ordered two small plates and a drink, which was enough to satisfy me. The food was really tasty and there are many different options to satisfy your palate. Prices were far more reasonable than I would have expected for a nicer spot, particularly a nicer spot that is in the market! I will definitely return here and I would most certainly recommend it.
