  The Tudor architecture makes the Swan on the Rideau a very distinct restaurant. Add it's location along the Rideau River and a nearby large collection of boats and it makes a unique place to dine. We had a great view from the upstairs dining room where twelve of us celebrated Father's Day. There was something on the menu for all the different ages in our group including a good collection of beverages. I had a very tasty and attractive spinach salad and great craft beer. My only complaint concerns the absence of a vegetarian main course to complement my salad.

  Food, ambiance, service -- all excellent! This has been a favourite for lunch and dinner for some time. Some nights there is also lively local musical entertainment. A fun and friendly place! Plenty of parking. Lovely outdoor patio near the Rideau River during the warmer months. You can also order take-out.
